We are still here

Hey everyone. I know that it has been a while since my last post. My excuse, I have been busy. And nothing really to write about. The kids are doing very well in school and Lexi loves her classes. She has to switch between 4 different classes this year. (they start them young here.) But she does love 5th grade! I am so very proud of my kids. They have adjusted to all the new things here real well.
Today we rode our bikes around Bay. We enjoy doing that. Allison is actually loving soccer and has her first game on Tuesday night! She is very excited! We are enjoying our Labor
Day weekend! Good break for us all. I do miss everyone from back home, I think more right now than ever. My sister is about 2 weeks away from having a baby. We can't wait! I would ask that all of you please pray for our whole family and this journey of pastoring the church. We can always use the prayers! We know God led us to this church and it was a big change for our whole family. We just need continued prayer for God's guidance.
I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend! We plan on having a cookout with my in-laws tomorrow. I'll try to take some pictures for you!

Lindsey's sleepover

Gotcha Girls!
Katie(top) and Riane(bottom)
At least we know some of them went to sleep!

Glamour Girls!

Thank you Lindsey for the fun sleepover!

St. Bernards Fun Fair 2008

Bradley loved the fire truck. This picture is of him in the backseat. He got to sit in the front seat also and I couldn't take a picture because I was awestruck at him. He was in another world, you know the world of going down the road and seeing the smoke on the horizon and him needing to get that truck to the fire so he could put it out. The fireman was talking him through it and Bradley was really day dreaming it! I wish I would have had a video camera with me, but I probably wouldn't have turned it on.
Bradley and Allison in front of the K8 Storm Tracker!
Dad can we pleeeease have a goat?! I think everyone knows that we have pigs and chickens. The one thing Jeff has always said no to is a goat! I really don't blame him though. By the way, Bradley wasn't really saying that in this picture, he was giving a goofy smile!

No pictures, just talk

Hey did ya'll notice that I played with my gadgets and updated my page? I was very proud of myself. Jeff was not even here to help me! Well, last night (Thursday) was suppose to be another soccer practice night, but it was raining. (Oh darn). We really needed a night off and we enjoyed it. As you have probably read from my sister-in-laws page, there is a really bad virus going around up here, so we are trying to keep up on our sleep so we don't get down. Employees at Jeff's work have had it to. Lexi is at a sleepover tonight. It is her first one and she was really excited. She took her camera so I hope she gets some good pictures that I can show all of you. She usually takes her camera places and then doesn't take any pictures. I had a good day today. I went shopping/browsing and enjoyed eating lunch with my husband. In the morning we go to the St. Bernards Fun Fair in Jonesboro. It is fun for the kids. They have organizations with info. on children's health, fitness and wellness with fun activities such as, face painting, games, live animals, give-a-ways, prizes, and a lot more. They enjoy it. We went 2 years ago and Allison got her picture in the paper on that Sunday! I'm sure I will have pictures to post for you.
I do really enjoy this blog stuff. It's fun! I love to read everyone else's and I hope they like reading mine. Although, I don't think anyone could match my friend, Angela Slaughters writing. You are such a good writer. I laugh so hard and then have to read them to Jeff!
Well, I have some kids to tuck into bed. So, ta ta for now!

Our first soccer practice!

Here are a few pictures from Tuesday nights soccer practice. Allison is playing soccer this fall for the first time. She now says she really doesn't like it because she got hot and sweaty and you have to run a lot. She's so funny! She will finish the season though because mom says so. The picture at the top is of Lexi and Bradley in what Bradley called "the desert of outer space". It was actually a place to play volleyball in the park. The 3rd picture is of Allison (in the yellow shorts) picking up one of her friends. (Marshall) She and Marshall don't know any of the other kids on the team because they go to another school. The 2nd picture is of Allison kicking the ball and her coach in the background. Her coach is a nurse at Trumann Elementary. So that may come in handy if there are any injuries. Hopefully not though. Jeff and I enjoyed sitting and watching them practice and we visited with Marshall's dad.

First Day of School!!

Well, here they are, ready for their first day back to school! The sun was in their eyes. Allison and Bradley were looking forward to school starting back, but Lexi was not so much. I guess it's her age or something. I am posting other pictures below this one, I hope you enjoy!! The kids say a special "HELLO" to Memaw, Papaw, Angela, Shane, and Xander!! We miss you guys alot!

This is Bradley in his class. He is in Pre-K just like last year, he has the same teachers and some of the same kids! He did very well today, no tears. (from me or Bradley) He felt very big! I was so proud of him wearing his glasses all day until nap time! He goes from 7:45-2:30.

And this is what Jeff and I did after the rat race morning of getting all of the kids to each of their classes. Jeff with his coffee and me with my Coke! (that is my coffee!) They call this place the Shake Shop, for those of you who don't know. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! Don't look at how I am dressed because I put all my efforts into the kids this morning:)

Tuesday Afternoon

Allison is helping me by doing our dishes,(rare for her) she is only doing it because Lexi traded her for the living room cleaning. And then there is Bradley, who is sleeping very well right now.

Feeding the Ducks

These pictures were taken at Craighead Forest Park in Jonesboro. For those of you who do not know, this place is really neat. Forest, fishing, duck feeding, park, hiking, biking, camping, water sprinklerpark, and I'm sure I have left out some, but you get the idea anyway. The kids love to come here and play. We went on Saturday!

Buzz Lightyear

My Bradley in his Buzz costume that his Memaw got him for Christmas last year! He's so silly, look at that mouth! Gotta love him!

Michelle

Me at my mother-in-laws house. I think Lexi took this picture. This, of course, is not me at my best but I thought ya'll would enjoy it anyway.

Allison and Shelby

Allison and her friend Shelby at VBS. They really love each other!!

Girls at VBS

The girls have been at VBS all week and last night I took a picture of them and there friends. Of course you can tell which ones are Lexi's friends and which one is Allison's. They have really enjoyed this week full of Bible School. This church really does an awesome job on VBS. I think the only girl in this picture that actually goes to this church is Allison's friend, Shelby.

Our Family

This is the Weir Family. Bradley 4, Jeff, Michelle, Allison 7, and Lexi 10. We are truly a very blessed family and enjoy each other very much. I, Michelle, am a homemaker and Jeff , my husband is an Assistant Manager at FedEx Office, and part time pastor of a church. We enjoy our being a part of our church. There is never a dull moment in this house! I enjoyed having the kids at home this summer, but I sure do look forward to school starting and having some time to myself! (Sorry for all you teachers) More posts later!

Bear with me

I just created my blog. That is a big step for me. Don't expect alot until after school starts. I think I will really enjoy doing this. It seems like it should be pretty easy.
